Cherise Nicole Ragland – is an entrepreneur, Real Estate Broker, Author, Singer and Motivational speaker. Cherise has been noted as a Spokesperson and Brand Ambassador for Nestle Tollhouse’s “100 Days Bake Some Good” campaign where she broke a Guinness World Record for the longest baking marathon, an Emmy-nominated television producer, actress, songwriter, recording artist, entrepreneur, and author of three books... her most recent inspirational title, “You Can Soar.”
Cherise has acquired extensive experience consulting small businesses in developing content and marketing strategies. Cherise has accumulated many credits in music and TV, working on projects as an executive producer, director, and writer for corporate videos, soundtracks, documentaries, film, independent artists, music videos, and other forms of entertainment. As an actress, she has performed in several stage plays, musicals, and films, securing roles in productions and pilots. In addition, she released her own music cd, titled “my healing”.
Cherise's talents have been recognized by many different organizations. Most notable, for her work as a Creator and Executive Producer, she has received an Emmy Nomination for
Children’s Programming. She also received a Cynopsis Kids Imagination Award Nomination for Best Theme Song. Also, as the Co- Co-Producer for Music Scoring of Somebody’s Child, The Redemption of Rwanda, which received the New York Film Festival Award.
Cherise started her career gaining corporate experience in Customer Service Management and Operations roles at global insurance and food companies. This corporate experience gave her the foundation for managing the business of her entertainment career.
Using the platforms of public speaking and coaching to connect and motivate, Cherise uses her life-story of healing, forgiveness, faith and relentless passion to inspire others.
Cherise has exhibited a strong dedication to her community and has volunteered for several non-profit organizations such as, The Illinois Restaurant Association, PADDS Homeless Shelter, and her local church,I nsight Church. Cherise founded her own non-profit organization, which worked hand and hand with multiple schools, churches, and corporate sponsors to organize annual food-drives, feeding over 300 families from 2009-2012. Her hobbies include photography and trying new restaurants (she is a self-proclaimed foodie!)
